Tricky. If we are split, fragmented creatures, & if language comes from parts simultaneously raw yet mediated, its connection to the things it speaks of at best slippery, one way to represent that is a poetry of ambiguous fragmentation, highly mediated yet intuitive.

An Idulgance

Whence this admiration for the arts of old-school China? For some years after highschool I kept correspondence with an English teacher. One Xmas I received a UNESCO card of Mu Ch’i’s Six Persimmons. So real. So abstract. No duality.
